Destin 2021

 After a crazy year of covid and quarantine and then a a literal freeze ....we NEEDED the beach. We decided to drive this year, it's a little over an eleven hour drive so we stopped in Hattiesburg MS and stayed over night. The kids were GREAT on the first leg of the trip. It was actually nice to drive because we could bring so much more with us...beach bags and towels, boogie boards, all the Costco food/snacks, coolers, etc. We took off the next morning and this time the kids were a little more impatient but still pretty darn good. There were 29 of us (16 adults 13 kids) between my family, Brett's family, and in laws. We divided up among 4 condos. Breakfast, beach, lunch, beach, dinner, pool is pretty much how we spent every day and I am totally fine with that. We went to dinner three times and out to the wharf where JT could zip line but the rain kind of stopped us from doing much else. We had GREAT weather during the day and a little rain just a few nights. The last day we had great waves perfect for boogie boarding. We had game nights with hilarious games, phase 10 and desserts, crab hunting, and late night swims. It was so good to spend time with ALL family just relaxing. It was pretty darn perfect and we were sad to head home!
