Things to Remember

Landry - 2 1/2 years

- She has started school and although the first week was rough she transitioned so well! We had to get into a 3 person routine with Brett being gone and it worked out great and made it easier for her. She is now excited to go to school and has a big smile on when the teacher gets her out of the car!

-She is so incredibly sassy and strong willed. She knows what she wants and what she doesn't want and she's going to let you know about it.

-She is not afraid to throw a fit at any given time or place which keeps me on my toes!

-She still is holding on to her blanket and stuffed Maisy. JT got rid of his blanket at 3 so we will try to do the same with Landry, not sure it will go as smoothly as it did with JT but we'll see!

-She had her first dentist appointment and she did NOT like that whatsoever. She was cavity free but I think she is going to need a lot of work. Her thumb sucking has caused a few issues.

-Obsessed with Maisy still. She loves to lay on her and hug her all the time. She loves to cover her with blankets when she's laying down, she has her stuffed animals talk to Maisy when she's playing and she LOVES to play tug of war with Maisy's toys.

-We have 2 neighbor boys that are buddies with JT and they like Landry just as well, she calls them the boys. "I want to see the boys." "Bye boys!" It's so funny and they are super sweet to her.

-Waiting for JT when he gets off the bus is her favorite things. She yells "bubba!" until he gets off and then he very sweetly comes to give her a hug and asks her how school was. It melts me every time.

-She won't let me sing her songs at night anymore, we have to watch them instead. She watches two Aristocat songs, A Spoon Full of Sugar, Why Should I Worry and You and Me (Oliver & Company), When Will My Life Begin (Tangled), and Les Poissons (Little Mermaid).

-She will very rarely smile for a photo and look at the camera at the same time. It's either looking at the camera with a straight face, giant open mouth/surprised face, or smiling looking behind her.

-She has NO fear whatsoever. At the petting zoo she tried to pick up a sold 4 foot kangaroo who was trying to lay down. The Kangaroo was not too happy and let her know...didn't phase her!

-Loves jumping. Jumps when she's walking, when she's running, on the bed, on the couch, all the time jumping.

-Still only eats chicken nuggets, hot dogs, mac & cheese, grilled cheese, and refined beans. LOVES cereal like I do, will request it for dinner! Will drink about 20 Danimals if I let her, finally likes watermelon, and is a snacker.

-Screams a lot still. High pitched when she's happy, excited, or mad.

-I love playing in her playroom with her. "Do you want to play with me mom?" She is really good at imaginary play, with her kitchen set, her baby dolls, JT's cars, etc. It is super fun to listen to!

If there is one thing she is not short on it's personality! She dances to the beat of her own drum and I wouldn't change her for the world!
